Happy Mother’s Day!

Days like today are always hard for me with mom gone. Still seems like yesterday she was here. My sister and I always tried to get a card that would make her cry

Sandy got a bunch of flowers to plant today and some baskets that hang on the front porch. She also got a nice picture frame with her kids’ photo in it. We went to Sandy’s mom’s house for lunch as we do every Sunday. The food and company are always wonderful. After that we went over to Sandy’s grandmother’s house and planted some flowers for her. She lives in a nice little retirement community and has a beautiful flower garden.

Work is gonna be nuts for the next ten weeks. We have more people from Ireland back over to train and our work load was just increased. With all of the extra work, we can work a lot of overtime now (woo-hoo!)

Tired

With all the games we have had since Saturday, I am bushed. I hope that the game tonight will be canceled due to the rain. Cora had a game last night. They came back in the last inning and tied; 8 - 8. So, they are still undefeated. It appears that Sandy still has my camera in her car. I was going to put up a few pictures from Cora’s game, but will have to wait until later.

Weekend

Was a busy weekend with all the baseball and softball games. We went to Amanda’s dinner before her prom to see her dress. I was able to get the yard mowed and even mowed the yard down the street that is a foreclosure. Seems the bank doesn’t want to keep it up. I did get a nice sunburn and even made the neighbors happy - woo hoo!

We went to Sandy’s parents’ house for lunch like we do every Sunday. Great food! It was May birthdays and Ryan got some Legos and too many cookies. After we got back I washed the Jetta and made it all shiny.
